Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before using this Web Site.
Navigation and use of the Web Site c/o (hereafter “Site”) involve integral acceptance of these General and Particular Conditions in order to utilise the individual services and/or contents and/or other items (hereafter “Services”) available through the Site. The user hereby declares having read and accepted these General and Particular Conditions concerning the use of specific Services and/or any other item, legal announcements, notification or disclaimer wheresoever published in the Site. If users do not intend to accept these terms and conditions, they are kindly requested not to use the Site and not to download or publish by means of upload any material therein. Hereafter, the term “General Conditions” shall mean and refer to the overall general rules of use of the Site, Services and Particular Conditions governing the use of individual Services, as well as any other note, legal announcement, notification or disclaimer wheresoever published in the Site.
These General Conditions govern the terms of use of the Services that the Verona Exhibition Authority company (hereafter “VeronaFiere”), with Head offices in Viale del Lavoro, 8 37135 Verona Italy, offers to its clientele and/or users through the Booking Online site.
The purpose of the service is to facilitate online hotel booking by enabling VeronaFiere's users to contact hotels.
Access to certain Services in the Site may involve the acceptance by the user of further conditions and terms of use that, depending on each case, may integrate the General Conditions. The user hereby declares acceptance of these General Conditions and also declares having read and understood the other particular conditions concerning specific services.
As per Article 7 of d.lgs. n. 70 dated 9 April 2003, there follow the COMPULSORY GENERAL INFORMATION required.

Users who intend to use the Services offered by the Site must, in order to confirm bookings, register first by providing certain personal data to VeronaFiere. Users intending to register undertake to ensure that they are adults on the basis of jurisdiction in their home country and that the personal data provided are true, correct and up-to-date, assuming every responsibility for the correctness and truth of the information provided. In the event of changes to the data provided by users, users themselves will be responsible for notifying VeronaFiere of updates as soon as possible.
The information available on the Site can be used free of charge, unless otherwise specified. The information contained in the Site is purely informative and, unless otherwise and more specifically envisaged, does not constitute a contractual proposal by VeronaFiere, nor a public offering, as per Article 1336 of the Civil Code, of the products and/or services described, nor are binding for VeronaFiere in relation to any negotiation or commercial relationship whatsoever.
Within the limits of current applicable standards, and unless otherwise specified on the basis of generally accepted ethical restrictions and/or standard commercial practice, Users acknowledge that the use of the Site is at their own exclusive risk. The Site is made available “as found” and “as available”. VeronaFiere offers no specific warranty whatsoever about the results that are expected, hoped for or obtained through the use of the Site.
Our purpose is merely to facilitate online hotel bookings through direct contact between users and hotels. The services are based on information provided to us by the hotels. For this reason, VeronaFiere declines any and every responsibility for inaccuracies, interruption or non-consignment of information by hotels.
Within the limits envisaged by Article 1229 of the Civil Code, users hereby declare and warrant that they shall hold indemnified and waive VeronaFiere, its representatives and employees as regards any compensatory obligation, including legal expenses, that may arise in their regard in relation to their use of the Site. If applicable legislation does not allow such a waiver, the responsibility of VeronaFiere shall in any case be limited within the limits allowed by law.
VeronaFiere declines any and every responsibility for any pretexts raised by users concerning the impossibility of using the Site and/or Services for any reason whatsoever. VeronaFiere may not be considered in default of its obligations or responsible for damages, pretexts or losses, directly or indirectly, caused to users by defective and/or non-operation of the Site.
VeronaFiere reserves the right at all times to disconnect - temporarily or permanently - such Services (or any of their parts). The user acknowledges that VeronaFiere may not in any way be held responsible as regards users or third-parties for the suspension or interruption of its Services, unless specific, different and additional contractual undertakings are agreed in this regard with Users.
Any information (text or graphics) concerning the assets and/or services offered through the Site but which are provided directly by the hotels shall not involve any responsibility for VeronaFiere, since each hotel assumes direct and exclusive responsibility for the indications, specifications and descriptions herein provided. Consequently, VeronaFiere accepts no responsibility as regards inaccuracies, graphic or warranty errors, explicit or implicit in the information and contents, and in any case declares that, on request and within the limits defined by law, it will provide the names, addresses and every other item of information necessary to identify the supplier and/or producer of the goods and services eventually offered.
The user undertakes to use the Site and its Services in a diligent, correct and fair manner and in particular, by way of example but not limited to, undertakes to refrain from:
·        any improper use of the Site in contrast with law, these conditions of use and all the other indications published in this Site, or contrary to moral standards and decency;
·        any action likely to compromise the rights and interests of VeronaFiere and/or third-parties, including intellectual or industrial copyright, or to damage, deteriorate or prevent in any manner the normal utilisation of Site and its contents;
·        reproducing, copying, converting, distributing, making available or disclosing in any other form to other sites or the public any material and/or information contained in this Site except against explicit written authorisation by VeronaFiere;
·        creating hypertext links from pages in other sites to the services offered by VeronaFiere except against explicit written authorisation by VeronaFiere.
The user accepts and agrees that all information, data, photographs, images, videos, messages or any other material (“Contents”), whether publically accessible or notified privately, are the sole and exclusive responsibility of the persons providing such Contents. This means that the user (and its employees, collaborators and others having due reason, etc), and not VeronaFiere, is solely and exclusively responsible for any Content it may upload, publish, send by e-mail, or otherwise notified or disclosed through the Site.
The user undertakes not to use the Services or any other service or functionality of the Site in order to:
-        load, publish, send or in any other manner transmit or disclose Contents that are illicit, damaging, threatening, abusive, offensive, defamatory and/or libellous, vulgar, obscene, harmful to the privacy of others, racist, classist or in any way reprehensible;
-        create headings or in any other way manipulate distinctive marks or indications in order to counterfeit the origin of Contents transmitted or disclosed through Services, general Services or any other type of functionality available through the Site;
-        disclose information contained for purposes of advertising, promotions, "junk mail", "spam", chain letters, pyramids or any other form of unauthorised and unrequested communication;
-        interfere with or interrupt Services and/or servers linked with Services;
-        violate, intentionally or otherwise, any applicable laws or regulations;
-        collect or store the personal data of other users;
-        assume the identity of third-parties;
In any case, it is expressly understood that VeronaFiere, on request by competent Authorities, may provide the information entered to competent judicial authorities.
The tariffs published were notified by the hotels to VeronaFiere in accordance with the conditions indicated in the pages detailing individual hotels. Users are kindly reminded to verify room details to display what is included in the cost. In any case, for any service indicated or further information, kindly contact the hotel directly. The tariffs and conditions indicated may change in accordance with the indications provided by hotels to VeronaFiere.
Your personal credit card data is requested by hotels exclusively as a warranty for the booking and inasmuch such data will be notified to the hotels where bookings are made.
VeronaFiere does not make any debit against the credit cards of users and stays will be paid directly to the hotel in accordance with applicable conditions. Bookings are made directly with the hotels.
Credit card data entered is processed in a strictly confidential manner, encrypted and stored in accordance with law exclusively until the the end of the period booked. Subsequently, such data will be completely and definitively cancelled from the files of VeronaFiere.
Your personal data and credit card data are notified through a secure server using a protected and safe channel. The encryption method used for data input pages is “SSL Secure Socket Layer” and its use by VeronaFiere is covered by a certificate issued by Trust Italia (Verisign).
Every eventual debit following cancellations, no-shows or variations in accordance with the modes and conditions of each hotel will be made directly by the hotel itself.
In order to cancel or modify bookings, the user must refer exclusively to the information given in the confirmation voucher or the booking page.
Notification as per Article 13 of Law n.196/03
The personal data collected for the purposes of the booking will be notified by VeronaFiere using IT systems exclusively to the hotel(s) involved in said booking.
Personal data are collected by VeronaFiere (as Data Owner) in conformity with the requirements of Legislative Decree n° 196/03 “Personal Data Protection Code".
The conferment of personal data is not compulsory but non-conferment means that VeronaFiere will not be able to send the information as per this form.

Notification concerning the conservation of IT traffic data and anti-terrorism standards

(Ratification as law with modifications, of D.L. 27/07/2005, n.144 concerning "Urgent measures to counter international terrorism") (the so-called PISANU Decree)
Law decree n° 144 dated 27 July 2005 (known as the Pisanu Decree) as converted into law n° 155 on 31 July 2005 saw the introduction in our regulations of certain urgent measures to contrast international terrorism which have a direct impact on the supply of communication services. In particular, suppliers of electronic communication services (such as VERONAFIERE) were obliged to retain records of IT traffic data and VeronaFiere upholds this requirement.

VeronaFiere reserves the right of make changes to the Site, these General Conditions and other legal notes wheresoever published in the Site at any time. When consulting the site, the user should always refer to the latest current version of the text of the General Conditions and the other legal notes published in the Site.
Modifications will become operative immediately at the time of their publication. Continued use of the Site by the user, following any such modification, will be considered as acceptance of these modifications.
The General Conditions, the other legal notes published in the Site and the relationships between VeronaFiere and users of the Site were defined on the basis of and are governed by Italian law. Any controversy concerning Services will be exclusively referred to the Courts of Verona.
